**As of September 09, 2024 bids for this project has been rejected. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid. This project includes the demolition and abandonment of the existing dry well concrete topslab, access tube, drywell structure, demolition of mechanical and electrical equipment in the drywell, pump piping, sewer intake piping, bollards, and wetwell topslab and structure, removal and replacement of sidewalk, curb and gutter, and fences, pavement restoration, wetwell lining, installation of 3 submersible pumps, new top slab and hatch for existing wet well, precast concrete valve vault with piping, valves, and connection to existing force main, abandonment of existing forcemain and the installation of 14" DIP forcemain with couplings, elbows and connection to valve vault and existing forcemain, installation of manhole with flow meter, installation of a new diesel powered generator and fuel tank, concrete pad and security fencing, electrical equipment and controls. Bypassing of sewer flows during construction will be necessary. SCOPE OF WORK A. Section Includes: All labor, materials, and incidentals required to demolish, modify and/or remove the electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment as shown on the Drawings and/or specified herein. Unless specifically noted as being reused, all conduit, wire, boxes, etc. detailed on the Drawings shall be new equipment installed under this Work. B. The electrical modifications and removals work shall generally consist of the following: 1. Removal of existing subsurface pump station electrical service equipment and ancillary equipment 2. Removal of electrical equipment presently located in the below grade drywel vault 3. Any electrically powered or controlled equipment indicated as being removed in this Contract and associated electrical appurtenances. 4. Existing electrical equipment or electrical equipment associated with mechanical or process equipment which must be removed or relocated due to conflicts with new construction. 5. Electrical control devices, starters, wiring, and other miscellaneous devices associated with equipment that will be modified or reused under this Contract. 6. Instrumentation and control equipment and related conduit and wire associated with equipment being modified or removed under this Contract.
