Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Randolph, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; warehouse / distribution facility; and water / sewer project.

The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans to construct floor topping at the Mount Olive Transfer Station. The Transfer Station Building is located on the South Side of Gold Mine Road. The work will include the following shotblasting existing concrete slab and driveway apron; placement of approximately 16,000 SF of concrete floor topping; installation of new trench drain; extension of observation deck slab; replacement of pipe bollards; and steel railing. Bids must be accompanied by Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashiers Check drawn to the order of the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority for ten percent of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00.All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place and on or before the hour named. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned within three days after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays excepted. This contract is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq. Prospective Bidders are cautioned not to rely solely on this Notice to Bidders in preparing their Bids, but to read the Bid Documents in their entirety and comply with all bidding requirements set forth therein. Any questions concerning the Bid Documents should be in writing and forwarded to the MCMUA, Attention: Marilyn Regner, 214A Center Grove Road, Randolph, New Jersey 07869, Mregner@co.morris.nj.us Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action Law); P.L. 2004, c.57 (Business Registration Act); and P.L. 2003, c.91 (Public Works Contractor Registration Act). Sealed bids for this project are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority is the lowest responsible bidder and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. One half hour prior to the bid opening, using both a telephone number with conference call access number to join the bid opening as well as a web link to join the live bid opening will be posted electronically. All bids must be submitted on the bid proposal forms provided in the bid documents in order to be considered. If bidders feel it is necessary to hand deliver the bid submission, they are to follow the instructions posted on the door of the MCMUA Office Building located at 214A Center Grove Road, Randolph, NJ 07869 during current business hours of 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Any bidder choosing to enter the building to secure delivery of the bid must wear gloves and face mas as proper PPE. Checks shall be made payable to the ALAIMO GROUP. Bidders who have previously submitted bids for this project will be furnished a new set of Plans and Specifications at no charge. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority
