This project is part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project. As of May 22, 2024, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has allocated funding for the pre-construction and design for the $34.4billion Coastal Texas Program. This project is in final study stage. Information regarding design firm, construction manager, and general contractor has not been released. Further details regarding design, bid schedule, construction and completion timelines have not been disclosed.
