Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Lewiston, Idaho. Design plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of May 10, 2022, the City Council approved design to move forward on Phase 1B. The approval will bring the project to 60% design completion. Phase 1A design had already been completed. A firm construction start date has not been announced but completion is set for January 2024. The City of Lewiston, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all proposers that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. In addition, the City of Lewiston prohibits discrimination based on ancestry, religion, creed, age, marital or familial status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity/expression.
