Site work for a civil project in Dallas, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: Construction of 6,500 linear feet (LF) of 90-inch diameter fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar pipe (FRPMP) gravity sewer interceptor, by open cut and other than open cut methods Removal of existing inactive 54-inch diameter pipe when encountered in the same trench, and filling of remainder of existing 54-inch diameter pipe with CLSM to remove from active service Construction of 20 FRP manholes Construction of 750 LF of 90-inch FRPMP under Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way and two separate TxDOT rights-of-way using tunnel liner plate Coordination with future tie-in connections Modifications to the Central Regional Wastewater System (CRWS) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) construction entrance; remove/replace contractor access gate Erosion control and fence improvements Authorized Entry List procedures: Anyone wanting to attend the Pre-Bid Conference must give 24 hours prior notice to Belen Campos, camposb@trinityra.org, 817-366-5260, providing name, company representing, purpose (Pre-Bid Conference), and time of arrival. For last minute changes, email Kelly Davis at davisk@trinityra.org and include the same information (name, company, etc.). Upon arrival, check in at the main gate at the east end of the CRWS treatment plant, indicate your purpose to attend the Pre-bid meeting at the TRA Construction Services Office Trailer Complex. Proceed into the plant following the roads through the plant to the west end of treatment plant site to a large complex of light brown office trailers. Access will be via a flex base road. Following the pre-bid meeting, a tour can be conducted to provide an opportunity to see the front gate and construction entrance at the CRWS plant site for construction access. This visit will be the only available time that prospective contractors can visit the project site. Prospective bidders are reminded that all visitors attending pre-bid meetings MUST have proper PPE, including steel-toed work boots, hard hats, safety vests and masks in order to walk through the plant facilities and buildings. No exceptions. Construct work as described in the Contract Documents. 1. Provide the materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make the project completely operable. 2. Provide the labor, equipment, tools, and consumable supplies required for a complete project. 3. Provide the civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and all other work required for a complete and operable project. 4. Test and place the completed project in operation. 5. Install Owner provided products and place in operation. 6. Drawings and specifications do not indicate or describe all of the work required to complete the project. Additional details required for the correct installation of selected products are to be provided by the Contractor and coordinated with the Engineer. Raw sewage is currently flowing in the existing 78-inch RCP interceptor and will continue to do so after the construction of this project. Protect the 78-inch pipeline during all construction activities. The proposed 90-inch interceptor shall not have any connections at this time. Construction duration is 550 days for Substantial Completion and 580 days
