Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Downey, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of April 22, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 26, 2022.** The work to be performed under this Contract generally consists of pavement rehabilitation of Fifth Street, between Brookshire Avenue and Lakewood Boulevard including three cul de sacs within the project limits, as shown on the Plan. This project includes reconstruction of failed pavement areas, cold milling of asphalt pavement; construction of asphalt concrete (AC) base course and asphalt rubber hot mix (ARHM) overlay. Work also includes installation of missing curb, gutter and sidewalk along the west side of Birchdale Avenue, entrance to Downey High School, as well as repair of uplifted, damaged or substandard concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway, and curb ramps; adjustments of manhole and utility valve covers to the new grade, replacement of traffic striping, pavement markings and signings; traffic control and all appurtenant work.
