Schneider Electric will evaluate all bids during the week of October 4, 2021 and notify bidders of the outcome. Neither Yough School District nor Schneider Electric will assume any responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the day of the bid opening. Any bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. In order to be considered, bids must be received in a sealed envelope and the outer envelope must be clearly marked specifying the Project and the appropriate Prime Bid. Schneider Electric reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of Schneider Electric and/or the district. The Contract, if awarded shall be awarded by Schneider Electric to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements and is in the best interest of the customer and of Schneider Electric. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal subcontract by Schneider Electric. All bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid conference shown below, use and complete all bid forms provided in the manner designated and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bid responses shall be marked in a sealed envelope with the name of the project plainly marked on the front of the envelope and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. This project is subject to Surety and payment/Performance bond requirements. In order to be eligible to submit a Bid for the Project, the Bidder shall meet or exceed the Contractor minimum qualifications as detailed in the bid documents. Due to Covid19, the bid opening will be handled in the following manner: Arrive no earlier than 11:45 am. (15 minutes prior to opening.) Only one representative per company will be permitted. Face Masks required at all times indoors. Indoor Bid Opening: Enter directly into the main lobby from outdoors. (No additional building access permitted.) Youll be directed to the Meeting Room Take a seat or stand at a table maintaining a minimum 6 ft. distancing. (Maximum 5 Bidders, 2 District Representatives) Any bidder not wishing to enter the Main Meeting Room may stand outside (6ft distances must be maintained), doors will be kept open. At 12:00 pm (time of bid), Bids will be open and read.
