Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in New Fairfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

Trades have been let for this package; the original solicitation is included below: This is an Invitation for the Re-bid of Bid Package 1.17 - Low-Voltage Systems only. Refer to Folder 17. NO PLA, Prevailing Wages apply This is a Re-bid for Bid Package 1.17 - Low-Voltage Systems only. No Pre-bid meeting will be held for this Re-bid. This project consists of the construction of a new approx. 152,000 sq ft high school building as well as limited renovations of specific areas of the existing New Fairfield Middle School and abatement/ demolition of the existing New Fairfield High School. The abatement/demolition of the existing high school building will occur following completion and turnover of the new high school building in 2023. Major sitework consists of constructing new drive and temporary parking lot and installing temporary utilities to the existing high school/middle school building prior to excavating for the new high school building, all new underground utility work, parking lots and drives. There are no new athletic fields to be constructed. The existing high school/middle school building and exterior areas outside of construction fencing will be occupied by students and staff during the entire construction period. This project shall meet the State of Connecticut High-Performance Building criteria requirements.
