Site work and new construction of a swimming pool in Kearney, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.
The University of Nebraska is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor for the infill of the Cushing Pool on UNK campus to accommodate a space to be used for the Wrestling program as well as other general purpose academic uses. In addition to the pool space, the project creates a new entrance from the Health and Sports Center "Main Street" corridor, renovates the wrestling locker room space, adds two wrestling coaches offices, coach's locker room, and a sports medicine space. The project will also require some removal of old mechanical equipment to make room for new units in an existing mechanical room.
