Site work and new construction of a library in Marietta, Georgia. Working plans call for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot library; and for site work for a library.
The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after date of bid opening, unless otherwise specified in the bid documents. Cobb County will consider the competency and responsibility of bidders in making the award. Cobb County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities and technicalities, to reject portions of the proposals, and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the County and the laws governing the State of Georgia. The Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit form must be submitted with all bid packages involving the performance of physical services in order to be considered. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. Request for proposals for design services has been completed. As of December 7, 2022, a design builder has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
