Estimated Project Value Delcroft School (799 School Lane, Folcroft, PA 19032) - Estimate Total:$4.2 Million (all 3 Primes) Sharon Hill ES (701 Coates Street, Sharon Hill PA 19079) - Estimate Total: $2.8 Million (2 Prime) Kindergarten Center (1 School Lane, Glenolden, PA 19036) - Estimate Total: $2.2 Million (2 Prime) The Owner intends to award separate construction contacts for General Construction (only at Delcroft School), Mechanical Construction and Electrical Construction. General Construction: i. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the Architectural (A-Series) Specification Divisions 01 through 14, 31 and 32 and other activities traditionally recognized as general construction. ii. Work responsibilities including but limited to: 1. Select Ceiling Demolition and New Ceilings in Classrooms and Corridors. 2. Select Casework Demolition and New Casework. 3. Select Interior Painting. 4. Select Flooring Demolition and New Flooring. iii. Work includes the following Temporary Facilities: 1. Temporary plastic and tape to prevent construction dust from travelling to areas outside of the work area. (Only in the highlighted areas marked for GC work). Mechanical Construction (HVAC) i. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment and services shown on the Mechanical / HVAC (H-Series / M-Series), Structural (S-Series), drawings, Specification Divisions 01, 05, 21, 22, 23 and 25 and as traditionally recognized as mechanical construction. ii. Work includes Project Coordination for all 3 Projects and related administration responsibilities including but not limited to: 1. Creation, Publication and updates of the project construction schedule. 2. Ceiling / Equipment coordination drawings. 3. Furnish and Install all Structural Steel, Supplemental Steel and all others as documented on the S-Series. 4. All Ceiling modifications outside highlighted areas noted for GC work in Delcroft School and all areas in Sharon Hill and K-Center. 5. All Roofing work including but not limited to demolition, penetrations, patching, flashings, new roofing as areas shown on the mechanical and electrical drawings. 6. All HVAC Equipment as shown on the H Series Drawings. 7. Commissioning of new HVAC systems. Work includes the following Temporary Facilities: 1. Final Cleaning of All Work Areas prior to Substantial Completion. 2. Temporary plastic and tape to prevent construction dust from traveling to areas outside of the work area. 3. Temporary Exterior Lighting needed for Roof work. Electrical Construction i. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment and services shown on the Electrical (E-Series), drawings, Specification Divisions 01, and 26 through 28 and traditionally recognized as electrical construction. ii. Work responsibilities including but limited to: 1. All electrical demolition required. 2. All branch circuit, feeder wiring and connections. 3. All electrical devices, disconnects and connections to electrical and mechanical equipment. 4. All panelboards, switchboards, light fixtures, switches to complete his work. 5. New electrical service cables and metering equipment at Delcroft and Sharon Hills schools. 6. Coordinate all roof work with H.C. 7. All related fire alarm related work and reprograming of existing system. 8. Provide all miscellaneous steel required for his work which is not shown on S-Series Drawings. 9. Remove and replace all ceiling tiles required to perform his work. iii. Work includes the following Temporary Facilities: 1. Temporary Interior Lighting for other Primes work areas. 2. Final Cleaning of All Work Areas prior to Substantial Completion. 3. Temporary plastic and tape to prevent construction dust from traveling to areas outside of the work area. d. All Prime Contractors shall provide the following in order to facilitate and complete their work: i. Daily clean-up of the Work Area ii. Trash Removal iii. Material and Equipment Storage Containers onsite (seabox) Project Schedule once Construction has started shall be as follows: (All Schools) i. Milestone - Phase 1: Completion of submittals and shop drawings submissions. 1. Start - November 1, 2021 (NTP) 2. Completion - November 29, 2021 ii. Milestone - Phase 2: Completion of Classroom work, including Fan Coil Units (FCU), Valve and pipe enclosures, refrigerant piping, casework, ductless split systems and associated terminal units. 1. Start - November 15, 2021 2. Completion - April 1, 2022 iii. Milestone - Phase 3: New Electrical Service Upgrades Completion 1. Start - March 7, 2022 2. Completion - April 17, 2022 a. Note: Power Shutdown and switchover during Spring Break Week April 9th through 17th iv. Milestone - Phase 4: Completion of rooftop work, including equipment (Condensing units, RTUs, DOAS, etc.) ductwork, steel/supports, piping, roofing and penetrations. 1. Start - April 1, 2022 2. Completion - July 18, 2022 v. Milestone - Phase 5: Substantial Completion, including equipment start-up, commissioning, testing and balancing and duct cleaning reports. 1. Substantial Completion - July 25, 2022 vi. Milestone - Phase 6: Final Completion, all work including administrative , punch list, as-builts and closeout documents. 1. Final Completion - August 8, 2022 c. All Work shall be preformed on second shift working hours except after June 17th, 2022.
