CSJ 0918 24 265 FEDERAL AID PROJECT * F 2022 (915) The Project, From Dallas North Tollway to Preston Road (Sh 289), Includes Paving, Bridges, Mse Walls, Water Line, Storm Drain Including Inlets, Box Culvert, and Headwalls; Pavement Marking and Signing, and Traffic Signals. The Project Also Includes Turn Lane Improvements at Preston Road (Sh 289). A Minimum of Two (2) Lanes on Eastbound and Two (2) Lanes on Westbound Must Be Paved and Open to Traffic by September 1st, 2025. Liquidated Damages Will Be Enforced in the Amount of $1,000/day if the Contractor Fails to Meet This Requirement. Bidders Must Submit With Their Bids a Cashier's Check in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Maximum Amount Bid, Payable Without Recourse to the Owner or a Bid Bond in the Same Amount From an Approved Surety Company as Guarantee That the Bidder Will Enter Into a Contract and Execute Bond and Guarantee Forms Provided Within Ten (10) Days After Notice of Award of Contract is Issued to Him or Her. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish Performance and Payment Bonds Each in the Amount of 100 Percent (100%) of the Contract Price From an Approved Surety Company Holding a Permit From the State of Texas, to Act as Surety. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Dbe) Goal of 7.5% Has Been Established for This Project. Any Contractor Intending to Bid on This Project to Be Awarded by the City of Frisco Must Be Prequalified by Txdot. If the Contractor is Not Prequalified, the Contractor Must Submit a Satisfactory Confidential Questionnaire Form and An Audited Financial Statement, or a Bidders Questionnaire Form to the Txdot Construction Division at Least Ten (10) Days Prior to the Date That Bids Are to Be Opened. Bidder agrees to complete the Work in full within six-hundred (600) calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. $48,450,000.00- $62,700,000.00 Addendum #1 has been issued as of 1-15-2024.
