The County of Placer is soliciting proposals for a qualified firm to provide professional engineering services for the Kings Beach Western Approach Project. The selected proposer, hereinafter referred to as Consultant, shall have the ability to deliver a wide range of services including but not limited to: project management, civil engineering design, transportation design, storm water conveyance and treatment facilities design, landscape design, streetscape design, electrical and lighting design, environmental permit preparation, geotechnical engineering, plans, specifications and engineer's estimate (PS&E) documents preparation, and construction support. In addition, Consultant shall provide surveying, right-of-way acquisition support, and construction staking. Consultant will serve as the central coordinator for all activities between the consulting team, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), County staff, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA), Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board (Lahontan), and other agencies as determined necessary.
