Notice is hereby given that the Gary Community School Corporation will receive sealed bids from experienced and eligible contractors at the Gary Community School Corporation; Bidders shall include with their bid, a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of a bank draft, certified check, money order or bid bond. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Revised Form No. 96 as required by the Statutes of Indiana. Each bid proposal shall include all labor, material and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications as prepared and on file in the office of Martinriley architects|engineers. A Pre-Bid Conference: This meeting will be held in the gymnasium. The gymnasium is located adjacent to this entrance. The Gary Community School Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids. This work consists of demolition of parking lot, pavement and utilities; miscellaneous site demolition; new concrete sidewalks; new splash pad; new shade structure; new site furnishings; site grading; landscaping and related sitework. The undersigned as bidder proposes to do all the work of: Improvements to RIVERSIDE PARK and to furnish all parts, labor, materials, supplies, equipment and other facilities and things necessary and proper for and incidental to the proper performance and completion of the work specified in the Contract Documents, including the drawings and specifications and as required by the City Manager and City Engineer to begin construction within seven (7) calendar days after a Contract is executed (unless otherwise indicated in the Special Specifications) and to complete the work by the date(s) listed below, and for the unit prices stated in the Bid Form. Addenda, if any have been issued, are to be acknowledged on the form provided at the place where bids are received, and a signed copy attached to the bid.
