Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Buffalo, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of the removal of approximately 200 SY of concrete sidewalk and ramps, combined, and 2,350 SY of asphalt pavement; installation of approximately 350 SY of concrete sidewalk, driveway, and ramps, combined; approximately 90 LF of handrail; approximately 160 LF of concrete curb and gutter; approximately 183 LF concrete valley gutter; approximately 2450 SY of asphalt pavement; and 3 pedestrian lighting assemblies with approximately 280 LF of conduit. Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified cashier's check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, payable to City of Buffalo in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into. In lieu of cash or a certified check, the Bidder may submit a bid bond in the form prescribed in paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contract or contracts which, in the opinion of the City of Buffalo, appear to be in its best interest. The City of Buffalo reserves the right to hold any or all proposals for the period of time from the opening of bids as specified in Section 00300, Bid Form. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the grant recipient's Section 3 Policy is required for contracts and subcontracts in excess of $100,000.00. the end of the questions period will be extended to Monday, October 11 at 5:00 PM
