The proposed project is to improve an existing drainage ditch located on the far east side of Lincolnshire. The work will involve selective vegetation removal and tree clearing, ditch grading, installation of stone toe channel stabilization and gabion basket installation, in addition to drainage structure and storm sewer installation. All Contracts for Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1- 12) and the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570). The Village of Lincolnshire reserves the right to defer the acceptance of a proposal for a period not to exceed 90 calendar days after the date proposals are received and to accept or reject all proposals and to waive technicalities and to accept the proposal which best meets the needs and requirements of the municipalities as outlined in the Request for Proposals. The CONTRACTOR shall begin work by November 1, 2021 The CONTRACTOR shall complete all work by December 31, 2021, if weather and site conditions are suitable for construction.
