For Approximately 10 Mile Micro Surface Project The Whitfield County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids from qualified vendors to contact approximately 10 miles of Micro Surfacing on various county roads. Bidder will successfully complete the terms of the contract when all roads are accepted by the Public Works Director. The Vendor shall comply with all laws, ordinances, rules and regulations of any governmental entity pertaining to the supply of any items or services pursuant to this ITB and resulting Contract. WCPW reserves the right not to be restricted to only the lowest bidder. WCPW may award the contract to the most qualified vendor. If the selected contractor cannot perform for any reason, WCPW may utilize the services of the next most qualified vendor. References will play a pivotal roll in the selection process. This work covers the materials, equipment, construction, and application procedures for placing micro-surfacing material for filling ruts and surfacing existing paved surfaces. Properly proportion, mix, and spread all ingredients on the paved surface according to this specification and as directed by the owner.
