Description: This project provides for the installation of six new guardrail safety barriers on Camano Island. Guardrails, and other work, will all be completed in accordance with the contract provisions, contract plans, and the 2021 WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.
Additonal Description: FEDERAL-AID PROJECT The Island County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. ESTIMATE AND TIME FOR COMPLETION: The project is estimated to cost in the range of $218,000 to $242,000. Please note the required time of completion in Section 1-08.5 of the Special Provisions of the bidding documents.
