Contract No. P200.545 is expected to be awarded at the November 2021 Commission Meeting and will consist of culvert repairs between Milepost 112 and 113 on the Garden State Parkway. The estimated duration for construction is twenty-one (21) months, including contract closeout and the estimated construction cost is approximately $11,000,000. The construction work to be performed under Contract No. P200.545 involves rehabilitation using slip-lining of the existing 120-inch diameter Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) culverts located at Milepost 112.42N and Milepost 112.51S, which convey Nut Swamp Brook under the Garden State Parkway (GSP) Northbound and Southbound Local and Express roadways, respectively. Additionally, the work includes replacement using trenchless pipe installation of the existing 66-inch diameter CMP culvert located at Milepost 112.17, which convey a tributary of Nut Swamp Brook under the Garden State Parkway (GSP) Northbound Local and Express roadways, and GSP Southbound Local and Express roadways, respectively. The work also involves storm pipe cleaning, drainage repairs and replacement, concrete headwall repairs, new headwall construction, maintenance and protection of traffic measures on the Garden State Parkway from Milepost 112 to Milepost 113 in Middletown Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Project background materials (preliminary plans, studies, reports, etc.) will be available for review electronically through the Authority's Secure File Sharing site in the "Background Materials" folder.
