As of March 4, 2022, this project has been awarded. The Authority has adopted a Disabled Veteran Owned Business (DVOB) Enterprise Program (the DVOB Program). Under the DVOB Program, Firms interested in being considered for this OPS agree to make a good faith effort to award at least three (3) percent of the assignment to those businesses that meet the requirements and have been registered by the Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services/Department of Treasury as a Disabled Veteran Owned Business Enterprise. Firms shall demonstrate how they will utilize DVOB Firms in order to achieve the 3% goal and add value to the project team. The Authority shall also be seeking participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBE) as subconsultants. The project goal is 25% SBE participation to New Jersey Businesses (see Attachment B2). This multi-project solicitation is for professional services required to provide construction services for Contract Nos. P200.635, Roadway Resurfacing between Milepost 0 and 126, Section 1 (2022) on the Parkway roadway and T200.632, Roadway Resurfacing between Milepost 0 and 83, Section 1 (2022) on the Turnpike roadway to ensure that the contracts are constructed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. OPS Nos. P3893 and T3895 will also provide for supervision of construction services performed and required for Immediate and Scheduled Repairs, Contract No. A900.538, on an as needed basis. It is the Authority's intent to engage the services of two firms through this multi-project solicitation. Professional Services are required from two eligible firms, one for Order for Professional Services No. P3893 and one for Order for Professional Services No. T3895. The Consultant shall convey their understanding of both OPSs, the Authority's needs and express their approach for both projects (See Page 4, Consultant Selection). Inquiries pertaining to this RFEOI are to be directed in writing to John D. Ernst, Project Engineer, via e-mail to Ernst@njta.com. The deadline for inquiries is September 30, 2021. The Authority will respond to all written inquiries received. Each inquiry will be stated, and a written response provided. Responses will be posted on the Authority's website under Doing Business, Current Solicitations on or before October 1, 2021. Consultants will be responsible for submitting their EOIs in accordance with the RFEOI and any modifications, revisions and/or clarifications thereto as a result of the posted responses. Late inquiries may not be reviewed or considered. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
