As of 7/26/2022, owner has determined the CDBE Compliant Bidders. Shady Lane Force Main Replacement (SS7548) CDBE - Part 1 Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to construct and install the sanitary sewer force main in its entirety as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Clear the site of trees, brush, fences, buildings and obstructions occupying space needed for construction. No building or structure partially encroaching on the right-of-way or located so as not to interfere with construction operations, shall be removed unless specifically noted on the Drawings or directed by the Engineer. 2. Installation and maintenance of all sediment and erosion control measures for construction as shown on the Drawings or as directed by the Engineer. 3. Installation of the proposed sanitary sewer force main by open cut installation and horizontal directional drilling installation as shown on the Drawings and in accordance with all specifications herein. 4. Installation of the proposed sanitary sewer force main is to include the removal and replacement of, but not limited to; concrete driveway, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, grassing, landscape, and existing utility services (if necessary). 5. Returning all properties that were disturbed for the sanitary sewer force main installation back to pre-construction conditions and for the final stabilization of all disturbed areas with sod as shown on the Drawings. 6. All project closeout items, including, but not limited to; testing of the sanitary sewer force main and as built survey of the sanitary sewer force main. You will need to email your name, the organization you represent, your telephone number and your email address to procurement@columbiasc.gov and copy Connie Heinen at connie.heinen@columbiasc.gov at least 1 hour before the scheduled Pre-bid meeting (prior to 8:30 A.M. on June 15, 2022). A roll call will be conducted at the beginning of the meeting to determine if we have the contact information for all participants in the meeting.
