W. Belmont Ave. From N. Ashland Ave to N Southport Ave ILDOT - Streetscape Improvements 08-S8141-00-LS The project scope of work includes streetscape improvements to three roadway corridors, including traffic
signal infrastructure along Lincoln Avenue as well as the construction of new curb extensions and plaza
spaces to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment in the Lakeview neighborhood.
The work for which proposals are invited includes but is not limited to the removal of existing pavement
and pavement surface; installation of hot-mix asphalt leveling binder, binder, and surface course; fulldepth P.C.C. bus pad, driveway and alley pavement construction; construction of new curb extensions,
and ADA accessible ramps; procurement and installation of streetscape furnishings such as brick pavers,
concrete benches and planters, new trees in grates and tree pits; installation of new roadway lighting and
traffic signal infrastructure including Audible Pedestrian Signals (APS), electrical and utility connections,
traffic signal modifications; drainage structure replacement, and surface drainage improvements; and
landscape plantings as described in the detailed specifications, including all appurtenant work and
accessories, to the complete satisfaction of, approval and acceptance by the City.

Documents or reasonably inferable as necessary to produce the results specified therein, except to the extent
