Site work for a water / sewer project in Ashland, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
* * As of 11/22/2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The projects includes the replacement of 1,863 LF of sanitary sewer force main along US 23 near the Russell Plaza. The contract completion time is sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the contract documents. The sealed envelope containing the Bidder Information and Form of Proposal must have the following information clearly printed or typed on the front lower left hand corner: "Bid for KFC to Meter Station Force Main Replacement for the Sanitation District 2 of Boyd County: Submitted by: (insert name & address of bidder)." All required information must be included in the envelope for the bid to be considered responsive. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 days following date of receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to reduce the scope of the project units if necessary so the accepted bid is within budgeted funds. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Sanitation District 2 of Boyd County in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the base bid. A Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price issued by responsible surety will be required of the successful Bidder. Project is funded by Sewer District local funds. State Prevailing Wage Rates do not apply.
