Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a parking garage in Wayne, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; and for asbestos abatement for a parking garage.
* * As of 12/21/2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. This contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, power, machinery, tools and equipment needed to perform the demolition, removal, and disposal of the garage and debris at 39436 Ecorse and restoration of the site. A performance bond as security for faithful performance of this contract may be required by the Township, equal to 100% of the total amount of the contract award, on the form provided. The surety on such bond shall be a duty authorized surety company satisfactory to the owner. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or part. Disconnect all electrical lines to the garage (if any) that's to be demolished using DTE's direction. Demolish, remove, and dispose of the garage including the foundations, walls, footings, and other debris in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances. Remove and dispose of all construction debris and other debris on the property in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances. Backfill all open holes with clean fill dirt and grade all holes and excavations that were part of the demolition areas. 5. Seed and mulch all backfilled and graded areas with a grass seed mix appropriate for the area.
