Building is located in the picnic area at Lorimer Park, located at 183 Moredon Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pa 19006. Bidder will remove existing cedar shingles and dispose of material. The area will be free and clear for vehicles to access the project. The basic roof structure is 23' x 36' with an attached overhang/porch roof that part of the roof with the same pitch as the rest of the roof. Complete roof is to be replaced with a metal standing seam roof. Questions Due Date: Oct 13th 2021, 10:00 AM EDT Requirements Obtain building permit as required by municipality. Remove and dispose of existing wood shake roof on cabin. Install new 5/8" plywood to existing roof deck. Construct 8' wide "cricket" behind 1 existing chimney. Install Ice and Water shield around chimney and all appropriate areas. Install new painted 24-gauge steel standing seam roof panels with all color matched eave, rake and flashing trims. The new standing seam roof panels will have a 16 inch plus or minus width. Roof deck will have appropriate underlayment installed (per manufacture requirements) before the standing seam is installed. Color will be determined after bidding. New metal panels will be installed using a hidden fastener system. Workmanship guaranteed against leakage for 10 years from completion.
