The Historic Rogers Road Area gravity sewer system is a public system owned by Orange County and operated by the Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA). The gravity sewer system is generally located along the Rogers Road corridor between Eubanks Road and Homestead Road. The serviceable residential dwellings in this area range in size from less than 800 square feet of living space to greater than 4,000 square feet of living space. The original construction dates of the serviceable residential dwellings in this area range from as recent as 2020 to as old as the early 1950s. The general contractor for the Historic Rogers Road Area gravity sewer project installed approximately 102 sewer service stub-outs/clean-outs to various properties within the Historic Rogers Road sewer service area. Although encouraged, serviceable properties within the Historic Rogers Road sewer service area are not required to connect to the public gravity sewer system. However, serviceable properties will be required to connect upon documented failure of an existing private septic system.
