Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Arviat, Nunavut. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Government of Nunavut (GN) department of Community and Government Services, on behalf of the Petroleum Products Division (PPD), is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in order to assemble a list of qualified large field erected tank contractors capable of designing, supplying material, and installing four (4) fuel storage tanks at a new greenfield bulk fuel storage facility to be constructed in Arviat, Nunavut. The bulk fuel storage facility will include the tanks which are the subject of this RFQ, as well as civil site work, piping systems, dispensing facilities, supply lines, etc. The extended facility will be constructed by a General Contractor to be selected by public tender at a future date. Successful proponents of this RFQ will be included in the call for tenders for the General Contract as preferred and approved tank suppliers. Qualifying pursuant to this RFQ will not preclude proponents from submitting a proposal in connection with the future Tender for the general contract, should the proponent wish to be considered for the entire scope of work associated with this project. Proponents are encouraged to submit enquiries and seek clarifications to the RFQ document prior to the stated closing date and time.
