Furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the demolition of picnic table and slab, and three asphalt basketball courts; relocation of concrete park sign; irrigation modifications, construction of four reinforced concrete basketball courts at Lacey Park. Scope includes 4" thick reinforced concrete courts (#4 @ 24" o.c. each way), concrete mowstrip on two edges, court striping, perimeter chain link fencing, 4' wide pedestrian gate, basketball court poles and footings, backboards with hoops, relocating one court light and pole, installing one new court light and pole, including electrical connections and installing new conduit, all to a complete and fully operable system. No bid will be received unless it is made on a bid form furnished by the City Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidders security made payable to the City of Hanford for an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into this contract. All questions regarding this project shall be in writing and shall be received by the Department of Public Works Division, no later than 2:00 P.M. on the seventh (7th) calendar day before bid opening.
