Renovation of a municipal facility in Bowling Green, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

SEALED Bids for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the: Wood County Sheriffs Office IT Room Cooling The Work will consist of replacement of the existing 5 ton RTU, with new RTU at 8.5 tons. The replacement will require a slightly larger service feed from the panel close by. Also included is the addition of 2 mini split systems that act as a redundant system as well as to meet potential seasonal higher load demands. All Requests for Information (RFI) and questions must be e-mailed to Greg Wright at gregwrighteng@gmail.com by Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. A copy of our RFI form is included in the specification manual and can also be found on the Wood County Website. When a project is funded in whole or in part by State of Ohio Capital Funds, it is required that Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Section 153.001 of the revised code apply to this project. Copies of Section 153.001 of the revised code can be obtained from any of the offices of the Department of Administrative Services. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit in favor of the Wood County Commissioners, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. If the contract is awarded a Contract Bond will be required, which is a one hundred percent (100%) payment and performance bond. Bidders shall submit with their bid the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Wood County, Ohio. The Contractor declares that its principal officers, directors, shareholders and/or partners are current with any court-ordered child support payments pursuant to the Board of County Commissioners Resolution No. 92-2041. All waste materials generated from this project must be taken to the Wood County Landfill for disposal. Contractor shall advise the Wood County Commissioners when the roll-off box is full. The Wood County Commissioners shall be responsible for all hauling and landfill costs and shall provide a roll-off box for this use. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration of the State of Ohio in accordance with all provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Ohio, ORC Sections 4115.03 and 4115.16 and related requirements. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or check, will neither be read nor considered. The Board of County Commissioners may reject any or all of the bids. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the form of the bid that do not affect or destroy competitive bidding. In no case will an award be made until all necessary investigations are made as to the qualifications of the bidder to whom it is proposed to award the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
