Site work for a mixed-use development in Sparta, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for construction of a Multipurpose Field for the Sparta Township Sports Park located at 377 N. State Street, Sparta, MI 49345. Work may begin after bid award with notice to proceed and shall be completed no later than April 30, 2022. The job must be continuously worked on once the project has started until the point of completion. Inquiries Deadline Date & Time (local) 10/11/2021, 2 PM No Bid Bond is required if a bid is less than $500,000, Each bid over $500,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond executed by the Respondent and payable to County of Kent for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Each contract over $50,000 must be accompanied by a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each payable to the Owner (County of Kent) and each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the funding agency, for the faithful performance of the contract. Specifications and drawings are attached herein. Original Park Documents are attached for reference only; site visit is mandatory. Schedule of Prices sheet, attached herein, must be submitted with bid form. Dimensions, if furnished, are for general reference only and should be verified by Respondents. No Bid Bond is required if a bid is less than $500,000
