Demolition and site work for a detention facility in Glasgow, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 19,431-square-foot detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Barren County Fiscal Court. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check. Electronic copies of the documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, IN. (812-464-8108). Charges to obtain electronic copies are non-refundable and are to be arranged with, and paid directly to, Maco-Evansville Blue. The Work consists of the complete demolition and disposal of the old correctional facility structure and site remediation. The building structure being demolished is approximately 19,431 sq. ft. The Work includes, but is not limited to building demolition, site clearing, lawns and grasses, earthwork (trench backfill, site grading, etc.), site clean-up , and the complete disposal of all debris off-site. Complete demolition and removal/disposal of all materials with the 19,431 square feet former Barren County Correctional Center. All materials shall be disposed of off site and taken to an approved landfill. Prepare site grades back to existing grade and seed and straw all areas disturbed during demolition work.
