The Department of General Services desires to receive professional and comprehensive remediation services from a qualified firm(s) to provide remediation services to remove water, wet damaged materials, dry, removed mildew and mold, etc. in order to have a facility which occurred water intrusion to be safe and allow to return to full operations. Proposer must be a licensed contractor per La. R.S. 37:2150-2163 and furnish current license number with proposal. Classification shall be MOLD REMEDIATION. Deadline for written inquiries - 10/22/2021 - End of Business day The term of any resulting contract shall be for two (2) years commencing on the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed, and shall expire at midnight on the day immediately preceding the second anniversary thereof. Jefferson Parish reserves the right to extend this agreement for an additional year, if agreed upon by the proposer and Jefferson Parish. The location(s) where service(s) is/are to be performed as needed at various facilities/properties with Jefferson Parish. Cost proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes which will remain sealed until such time after the evaluation committee makes its evaluation of the proposals on all factors and criteria state in the RFP. The cost proposals shall not be included in the evaluation criteria. Cost shall be worth twenty-five percent (25%) of the total points assigned. Evaluation of cost shall take place after technical evaluation has been completed. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
