The objective of the project will perform miscellaneous upgrades on existing groundwater sites located in the SF Peninsula area. The upgrades vary by site and they include mechanical, electrical, structural, and corrosion protection upgrades. The work is to be performed in San Mateo County, California. Attendance of remote attendees will be completed at the end of the pre-bid meeting. Please be advised that prior to receiving these materials, all requestors will be required to complete, sign, and comply with a Confidentiality Agreement. Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 13.00%. Both San Francisco Small & Micro-LBEs and SFPUC-LBEs (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division) can be utilized to meet this requirement. The 13% minimum requirement was established in consideration of the project consisting of various specialized scopes requiring specialized licenses. This includes Cathodic Protection work, flowmeters, VFDs (variable frequency drives), and surge anticipation valves - all of which are associated with groundwater wells.
