As of April 14, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. RFP for Preconstruction and Construction services for a new GA Hangar-Site 1 project encompassing a 25k SF hangar, 5k SF office, parking and site development. It is the intent of the District to select and award the contract to a single firm/team. The Project will be located Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The Project will primarily include construction of the following elements: o 25,000 SF hangar o 5000 SF office space - cold, dark shell o 30 stall parking lot o Utilities and site work The Project Team consists of the organizations noted in Attachment A. The Project is currently in the schematic design phase of the engineering effort. The first course of action for the CMC is to provide a high-level estimate for the project as captured by the existing design documents at the "design development" level. A Project sketch is provided for your reference in Attachment B. The sketch is representative of the related work, the specific scope shall be determined during the completion of the design documents for the project. The contract award will result in the selection of a CMC to provide preconstruction services, construction management and general construction services for the Project. The District reserves the right to alter the proposed Scope of the Project, for the purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) and to lead the evaluation of the submitted proposals. It is envisioned that construction will start once plan check comments are incorporated into the design for final design documentation and approval of the GMP.
