The Haralson County School District (HCSD) invites proposals for HVAC renovation at facilities described in the Work List. Contractor must comply with Davis-Bacon Wages Act. No pre-bid meetings for this RFP. No public bid opening. Bid award will be posted to procurement no later than 30 days after bid opening date. Haralson County School District is requesting proposals for the following scope of work. Replacing HVAC units at the high school campus. The objective of the HVAC renovation is to improve the indoor air quality by: The upgraded HVAC systems will provide increased ventilation through bringing in more fresh air. The upgraded HVAC systems will provide individual control of temperature and ventilation from each room, while previous systems served multiple rooms from one system. The upgraded HVAC system has increased air filtration efficiency through using higher MERV-rated filters. The upgraded HVAC systems are fitted with air cleaning systems to neutralize airborne pathogens and keep HVAC coils clean. The upgraded HVAC systems have dehumidification circuits for humidity control to keep humidity levels below ASHRAE suggested maximum RH level of 60%, thereby minimizing microbial activity. The upgraded HVAC systems are internally lined with an anti-microbial coating to minimize or inhibit microbial activity. Air cleaning systems installed on all HVAC units- needlepoint bipolar ionization systems.
