Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in League City, Texas. Design plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of March 2023, the project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for contractor bidding and construction has not been determined. Includes engineering and other required design disciplines to result in an 8' wide, 6" thick concrete sidewalk/trail from existing Claremont Connector trail to the pedestrian bridge and beyond the bridge to the school; a 130' x 10' pedestrian bridge; sod reestablishment; erosion control; site preparation and mobilization. The city will initiate a contract with a design firm to prepare preliminary plans and estimates for the grant application to be submitted by February 1, 2021. Following approval of the grant, the project could start in late summer or fall of 2021. The full design fee of $98,500 is shown for 2021 so that plans can be complete in early 2022. Construction will begin in 2022; estimated at $575,165 by Kimley Horn, consultant that assisted on the Safe Routes to Schools grant application. This project is included City of League City's FY 2022-2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
