The project consists of providing selective demolition and installing Aluminum Sidings, NonMetallic Sheathed Cables, Duplex Outlets, Automatic Wall Switches, Light Fixtures, PVC Conduits, Electrical Utility Poles, Beam and Girder Framing, Steel Roof Panels and Framing, and Chain Link Fence in accordance with the contract documents, technical specifications, and plans. Both fees represent reproduction costs and are non-refundable. We reserve the right to process checks electronically by transmitting the amount of the check, routing number, account number, and check serial number to your financial institution. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Refugio County, Texas, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond The successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Registration with SAM is not required. Lump sum bids will be rejected. Refugio County, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Refugio County, Texas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award
