Renovation of a civil project in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of February 1, 2022, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for when the project is expected to be awarded has not been confirmed. Replace skimmer systems in 17 tanks with improved ones that can be monitored and controlled through the plant's Distributed Control System, as well as more limited improvements to inactive 18th tank Demo, remove & replace skimmers, butterfly valves, HPE spray system, skimmer troughs and launder covers, replace 4-in scum pipes with 6-in and cap/abandon 4-in. Cooperate with Honeywell Control Systems to connect, program and integrate new sensor- & actuator-equipped systems with plant's DCS. Also excavation, remediation (See specs for information on hazardous substances present), concrete core drilling (without damage to steel reinforcement), cleaning and removal of debris, assistance with commissioning & startup.
