Renovation of a water / sewer project in New Caney, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
For CDBG-DR Generator Installation at the Water Plant Facility The project is located at the Citys Water Plant Site. The project Base Bid includes the installation of an emergency stand-by generator with reinforced concrete foundation (strip footings), and structural steel platform. The top of grate elevation at the platform will be above the 100-yr floodplain with the top of double wall fuel tank at more than three feet above the 100-yr floodplain to mitigate against future flooding events. As a part of the Base Bid, automatic transfer switches will also be installed along with all civil, mechanical, and structural work required, and all necessary appurtenances to deliver complete and operation emergency power at the site. The project documents also include Alternate Bid Items for the installation of a galvanized steel cover at the proposed generator platform and the installation of a galvanized steel cover at the existing electrical service entrance platform, including all civil and structural work required, and all necessary appurtenances. Accompany Bids with acceptable Cashier's or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, payable without recourse to the City, or a Bid Bond of like amount from an approved surety company, as a guarantee that bidder will enter into a contract.
