The Project includes the following Work: Supply and install approximately 31,547 linear feet of 18 to 36-inch gravity main collection system including manholes, appurtenances, and required testing. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $10,250,000.00. The Project has an expected duration of 300 calendar days for substantial completion. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bid (IFB) are expected to be funded in part by financial assistance from the TWDB. Neither the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the State of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees, are or will be a party to this IFB, RFQ, or any resulting contract. Any contract(s) awarded under this Invitation for Bids is/are subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of Section 608 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act and/or United States Iron and Steel (US I&S) requirements of Texas Water Code 17.183 and/or Texas Government Code, Chapter 2252, Subchapter F, as amended by SB 1289, 85th Legislative Session, as applicable. GVSUD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids under this advertisement.
