The Work to be performed is located in the Town of Jupiter, within Palm Beach County, and consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the rehabilitation of an existing wastewater pump station as shown on the Contract Plans and Specifications and as specified herein to include: ITB #21-009-00108: MASTER LIFT STATION TRAVELING BRIDGE CRANE Purchase and installation of one (1) 2-ton traveling bridge crane system at Loxahatchee River Districts Master Lift Station No. 1. The selected Contractor shall furnish and install a traveling bridge crane and appurtenances capable of lifting and moving each pump assembly or valve through one of the two openings in the ceiling, where an existing A-frame hoist will then be utilized to move the pump assembly or valve out of the building. The selected Contractor shall be responsible for making all necessary electrical modifications and connections necessary for completion of the work. The selected Contractor will be responsible for determining and performing all foundations and structural improvements necessary for work completion. The District reserves the right to determine material elements of the Bid and to award the Contract, if at all, to the lowest, qualified, responsive, and responsible Bidder. The District further reserves the right to reject any and all Bids; to not proceed with the Project; and/or to waive any irregularities contained in a Bid. The Bid Documents are made available on the above terms solely for the purpose of obtaining Bids and do not confer a license or grant for any other use. Character and amount of security to be furnished by each Bidder are stated in the Instruction to Bidders. The Bidder shall hold its Bid open for acceptance by the District for a period of not less than ninety (90) calendar days following the date of the Bid opening.
