Renovation of a conference / convention center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The City has determined to cancel the opportunity , The project will re-advertise, with new contract documents, beginning October 27, 2021. Upload of bids is the sole responsibility of the Bidder. Following the public bid reading, bids will be considered by the City and an award of the Contract, if made, will be within fifty-five (55) consecutive calendar days after the Bid Opening. Contract if awarded, will be awarded in accordance with the Gender Pay Equity Ordinance (5-5-31 COA). Portions of bidding documents may be purchased at the cost of reproduction. The Bidder's attention is specifically directed to the Instructions to Bidders, Special Provisions and Supplemental Special Provisions contained in the Contract Documents. By submitting a bid, contractor agrees to abide by all provisions of both the Accountability in Government Ordinance (Section 2-10-1 COA) and the Inspector General Ordinance (2-17-1 COA). Work under this Contract is funded with federal grant funds from the U.S. Department of Treasury American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). The SLFRF program is regulated by specific federal laws, program rules and applicable policies; projects awarded SLFRF funding are subject to SLFRF regulations. Description of Work: Reroof a majority of the east Convention Center Building, including the Bridge Connection across 2nd Street. There are 2 Additive Alternates for the project. Additive Alternate No. 1 is to reroof the remaining portion of the East Building and the stair/elevator tower on the adjacent parking garage. Additive Alternate No. 2 is to remove the existing metal coping and replace it with new metal coping. In addition, Bidder agrees to complete or correct all punch list items attached to the Certificate of Substantial Completion within 10 consecutive calendar days following the date of Substantial Completion.
