Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Phoenix, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
As of December 5, 2022, construction is underway. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Phoenix ("the Owner") Requests Proposals from experienced Construction Manager|General Contractors (CM|GC) for the construction of the Government and Public Safety Center project. The project will construct a new combined city facility, replacing the Phoenix Fire Station (JCFD 5 Station 3) that was destroyed by the Almeda Fire in September 2020, and incorporating the existing City Hall and Police Station buildings.The new building will utilize the existing footprint of the City of Phoenix City Hall, Fire Station, and Police Station, while increasing total square footage through the utilization of a second story. The total value of the construction budgets is anticipated to be $11,500,000 comprised of Oregon HB 5006 funds, insurance, grants, and FEMA proceeds. Selected firms will be expected to start immediately after City Council award and receipt of a Notice to Proceed (NTP). The City reserves the right to reject any Proposal response not in compliance with all prescribed public procedures and requirements and to waive informalities in this Request for Proposals response process.
