MDOT/SHA Snow Hill Shop is currently soliciting bids for the installation of outdoor receptacles and pole lighting at the Snow Hill Shop, in Worcester County Maryland. The main purpose of this procurement is to have electrical hookups for dump trucks and other equipment while parked in an outdoor setting. Additionally, there will be a pole light at the start of the run to light the area where the trucks will be parked. There will not be a Pre-Bid meeting for this Contract Contractor to install/perform the following: o Install 5 each 6X6 pressure treated posts (concrete base below frost line) with 4' above grade to mount receptacles. Posts shall be 10' spacing in a straight line o Install Ten (10) 20amp 120v receptacles (2 spots to plug in per post), in surface mount waterproof housings/covers that allow for cords to remain plugged in during adverse weather . Surface Power Outlet, 20 Amps, 120V AC Voltage, 5-20R2GFCI, 7 1/8 in Height o All required conduit, wiring, connections, subpanels, breakers, receptacles, to be included. o Work shall include bore, saw cutting of asphalt, trenching, installation of appropriate code required conduit, replacement of asphalt (patched and tamped) o 35' Pole light / streetlight b. Two arm type LED FLOOD Lights at proper downward angle to lighten the appropriate work area in a V Shape c. Each light shall be dusk to dawn d. Each light shall be minimum 10,000 lumens o Project area is approximately 220 feet from electrical panel. Most of this will be sawcut/trench through asphalt or directional bore o Disposal of all debris o Complete all work by 11/01/21 if lead times from manufacturers allow o Adhere to all Electrical Standards/Codes, MOSH/OSHA standards that pertain to the work o Contractor shall have their own equipment capable of completing the work project in its entirety. o Vendor must utilize appropriate PPE for the work. o MD State Master Electricians License Required Bids, requests for withdraws, and modifications not received by the time and at the place indicated are late and may only be considered in accordance with COMAR 21.05.02.10 BID LOCATION: MDOT State Highway Administration 5603 Market Street Snow Hill MD 21863
