Renovation of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Upgrading outdated infrastructure to support current and future low voltage cabling infrastructure by creating permanent pathways with the capacity and flexibility to expand over time as the demand grows. The project's scope also includes the conversion of two spaces into new Telecommunication Rooms/closets with two split HVAC systems for air conditioning. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, listed in the latest published State of California, Department of Insurance, list of Insurers Admitted to Transact Surety Insurance in This State. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: General Contractor, B. The work described in the contract is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. No contractor or subcontractor, regardless of tier, may be listed on a Bid for this project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a).
