Renovation of a fire / police facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a 6,700-square-foot fire / police facility.
**Addenda must be obtained directly from owner** Greensboro Fire Station 14 is an approximately 6,700 SF facility that was originally constructed in 1972. The existing property is approximately 1.42 acres in size. Original construction documents for the facility are attached as an exhibit for reference. The scope of the renovation project should include, but not be limited to the following: selective demolition and abatement, concrete repairs and replacement both interior and exterior, masonry repairs, apparatus bay renovations to include the lifting of the roof structure to accommodate a larger truck, roof replacement, complete interior renovations including the addition of new female quarters and all interior finishes, appliances, kitchen cabinets, doors and hardware, new overhead doors, new windows, fire protection system, plumbing replacement and repairs, HVAC replacement, new truck exhaust system installation, electrical, lighting, and generator replacement, low voltage replacement, exterior repairs and improvements to parking areas, landscape utility, and storm drainage systems. The City estimates an all-in budget of $3.5 million dollars for completion of this project including all costs and fees.
