As of November 05, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by the end of the day on November 8th. Contract C206 - General Trades (2020 CIP Ph II - TA 20049) Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide labor, material, plant, tools, equipment, and supervision related to and/or necessarily involved with the performance of the Work, as indicated on all the Drawings, Specifications and/or Project Manual, and as set forth below. Work for Contract C206 is generally described as General Trades and more specifically described in this Scope of Work. a. Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide all dewatering as required for the Work of this Contract.
b. Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide all ceiling removals and reinstallation as shown on the contract documents. Contract C206 - General Trades shall remove, store, protect from damage, moisture, weather, etc. until reinstallation. Contracts C222, C223, and C226 shall only provide removals, storage and reinstallation of ceilings as required which are above and beyond what is shown on the contract documents. Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide new ceiling tiles/grid if existing tiles and grid are damaged during Work of this Contract.
c. Contract C206 - General Trades is responsible for all cutting and patching of existing surfaces affected by Work to match existing surface finishes throughout as shown on the "A" drawings. All cutting and patching in walls, floors, and ceilings includes but is not limited to concrete, masonry, gypsum board, plaster, ceiling systems, and division 9 finishes.
d. Contract C206 - General Trades shall frame and install all access doors furnished by Contract C222 - Plumbing, Contract C223 - HVAC, and C226 - Electrical as required by the work of their contracts.
e. Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide 80 carpenter foreman hours in their base bid to be used as directed by the Construction Manager.
f. Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide concrete Work and Steel work (including all ladders and access hatches) as shown on the contract documents.
g. Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide new floor access hatches as shown on the contract documents. Any required floor/structure patch and /or concrete Work required for a complete install and to bring area back to its original condition shall be by Contract C206 - General Trades.
Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide, maintain, and remove temporary watertight roof enclosures at ALL roofing Work, where there is any exposure to the exterior.
h. Contract C206 - General Trades shall note that the sequence of removals of roof mounted equipment, steel, and new roof mounted equipment is defined in the 'SCHEDULE' section of this document.
i. Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide temporary site logistics and staging fencing 6/28/2023 through 9/1/2023. Contract C206 - General Trades shall provide 80 foreman hours in their base bid for maintenance of staging and logistics areas to be used as directed by the Construction Manager. Contract C206 - General Trades shall note that prior to 6/28/2023, Contract C202 - Asbestos Abatement shall provide all details on A001. Removal of fencing by Contract C202 - Asbestos Abatement shall occur on 9/2/2022. Maintenance of fencing and access portals after 9/2/2022, until removal on 9/1/2023 shall be by C206 - General Trades per direction from the Construction Manager.
