Saratoga Cemetery District, hereinafter referred to as Owner, is accepting sealed bids for design and installation of a commercial sprinkler system for the Third Addition to the Saratoga Cemetery. The successful Bidder shall provide the design for the Third Addition to the Saratoga Cemetery, approximately 2.4 acres. The design and layout of the system shall be reviewed and approved by the Owner prior to installation. The proposed irrigation system shall consist of PVC piping of various sizes, Hunter controls, valving, and sprinkler heads, a two wire system, and a booster pump, of sufficient size to provide satisfactory watering of all areas. Limit number of sprinkler heads on each zone to six. Controls shall be located at the power pole on the northeast side of the construction area. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities if deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security payable to the Owner for 5% of the total amount of the Bid, to be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages if the Bidder is awarded the Contract and fails to enter into an Agreement with the Owner within thirty (30) days from his notification. The successful Bidder shall perform the Work and furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The Contractor shall guarantee all materials and equipment furnished and work performed for a period of one year from the date of final acceptance. The Performance Bond shall remain in full force and in effect through the guarantee period.
