**As of May 9 2022, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work generally consists of installing disaster warning and communication system devices (sirens) and its related appurtenances. The siren equipment and appurtenances will be furnished by the State for the contractor to install. Sites are at various locations on the island of Maui. The estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $2.5 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Hawaii products preference pursuant to ACT 175, SLH 2009 may be applicable for items of this solicitation. Persons wishing to certify and qualify a product not currently listed as a Hawaii Product shall submit a Certification for Hawaii Product Preference (form SPO-38) to: Department of Accounting and General Services , Public Works Division, 1151 Punchbowl Street, Room 426, Honolulu, Hawaii, Attn: Jolie Yee.
