Renovation of a fire / police facility in Williams Lake, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Work under this Contract generally includes, but is not limited to, the following services. General Requirements: 1. Installation of new generator system complete with double sided automatic transfer switch (ATS), subbase tank for 24 hr, generator pad and associated components. 2. Civil works including leveling ground prior to installing generator pad and repairing landscaping upon completion of work. 3. Coordinate with main distribution manufacture (Federal Pioneer) to perform modifications to the existing main distribution board DB and have the board recertified in accordance with CSA SPE-1000. 4. Existing electrical power service must remain operational at all times until the transition to the fully commissioned new generator is complete and ready for switch over. 5. At no time shall the building be without power. All power shutdowns to be arranged and to be performed during non-working hours with the presence of Commissionaires at Contractors cost. Temporary generator to be provided if any power shutdown is required during working hours and with prior agreement with departmental representative and RCMP. 6. Demonstration and training of personnel as directed by the Departmental Representative. Refer to Section 01 79 00 Demonstration and Training. 7. Add supervision generator run/trouble at fire alarm annunciator. 8. Installation of all necessary wiring and equipment for fire alarm tie-in. 9. Patch, repair and paint walls and ceiling surfaces and parking lot. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost $100,001 to $500,000 Documents can be obtained from www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
